Top best answers to the question «Did nasa ever land on the moon»

  • NASA did land astronauts on the moon. There is no question or doubt in that. In comparison to the technology we have right now, it was not so sophisticated at that time. Hence, there were communication delays and interruptions. These were used by the conspiracy theory developers to make false claims.

Moon landing conspiracy theories claim that some or all elements of the Apollo program and the associated Moon landings were hoaxes staged by NASA, possibly with the aid of other organizations. The most notable claim is that the six crewed landings (1969–1972) were faked and that twelve Apollo astronauts did not actually walk on the Moon.

NASA won't respond to any of these claims, their press office will only say that the Moon landings happened and the pictures are real. But a NASA public affairs officer called Julian Scheer once delighted 200 guests at a private party with footage of astronauts apparently on landscape.

Thankfully, we do have a closer spacecraft, NASA’s Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter, which has been in orbit around the Moon since 2009. And it has captured recent photographs of all the Apollo landing sites (see here and here ).

Yes we were in space, but I'm not sure we ever landed on the moon. Kennedy gave us 8 or 9 years to make this happen with his speech saying we are going to the moon. The pressure was on. NASA rockets could not get into orbit, let alone make the 238,900 mi trip. A quarter of a million miles to the moon. NASA had over 20 rocket launches that failed.

The United States would go on to complete six crewed missions to the moon that landed a total of 12 astronauts (all men) from 1969 to 1972 in a series of Apollo missions numbering up to Apollo 17...

The moon is shrinking! According to NASA research, the moon is slowly losing heat, which causes its surface to shrivel up like a grape turning into a raisin. But that's not all: its interior is...

It is being reported that the Apollo 11 missions, which landed men for the first time on the moon, was in fact fake. One of the astronauts on the Apollo 11 mission, Edwin “Buzz” Aldrin ...

Wed 10 Jul 2019 01.00 EDT It took 400,000 Nasa employees and contractors to put Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin on the moon in 1969 – but only one man to spread the idea that it was all a hoax. His...
