  • Simply use Ctrl+C on that part, but must not be on the ship to create a copy or a Blueprimt of it. Ctrl+V to load the copy, position it on the main ship (grid) by aiming the block you want to merge with your paste. Use the "Merge Blocks", add thrusters + Gyros + cockpit and move it in position so it can merge with the main ship.

Is copy and paste enabled in the world settings? If it is enabled, you should be able to use CTRL+C to copy a ship and CTRL+V to paste it. Remember that this does only work in creative.
