❔ Does sound travel in space nasa?

Messages wouldn't get very far, since sound waves can't travel in the vacuum of space! But the spacecraft do send out radio waves, which can travel practically forever. The trouble is, the radio waves spread out and get weaker and weaker the farther they travel. So NASA's radio wave "ears" must be very big indeed!

Yes, space travel is dangerous but without danger, how would we have made some of our best advancements like electricity. At the moment, we are depleting the Earth of its resources and minerals. If we continue to prioritize space travel, will undoubtfully find both minerals we know and need, and we will also find minerals that we never knew existed.

4. Exploring space means we’re leaving a lot of litter behind. According to information provided by NASA, there are more than 500,000 items of debris that are currently being tracked as they orbit our planet. This space junk is litter that is flying at a speed of over 17,500 miles per hour, which means an impact could do great damage.

It makes the USA seem very arrogant and selfish, especially to other countries. Some countries are in very bad shape, food-wise and the death rate can be very low. It is sad and depressing that the government is prioritizing space exploration over colledge assistance, hunger, natrual disasters, or medicine. Report Post.

Despite bipartisan support for space travel, however, NASA has also been a subject of a highly partisan debate.

Instead of the SLS, NASA should be planning and developing a new, American-led, International Space Station to launch by ~2030… providing further job security for NASA employees and contractors, while keeping Space X here on American soil, launching American and allied astronauts.
